GLOSSARY

UNCALIBRATED

The verdict a plausibility screen returns for a group too small to read without the row under test, fewer than four other rows. It is reported per group, never for the whole column. No figure resting on an unscreened column may be described as certified, and a screen that refuses everywhere never renders like one that ran.

Principle 11 · Reconciliation proves arithmetic, not plausibility

Where does UNCALIBRATED come from?

Principle 11 of the Kymira doctrine, Reconciliation proves arithmetic, not plausibility. UNCALIBRATED is the name the doctrine gives to what that principle requires in practice.

What failure is UNCALIBRATED named after?

The screen calibrated by its own target. An outlier ceiling derived from the data being screened, so the 100x slip became its own ceiling and certified clean.

What does it look like on a real file?

A plan with three other rows is too small for a leave one out read, so the screen names that group and not the column.

Not for

Not a pass. An UNCALIBRATED group is an unscreened group, and the page has to say which ones went unscreened.
