GLOSSARY
Honesty strip
One line above the content that leads with what was proved: what ties, what was computed but unverified, what went unscreened, and as of when. A page that shows only its passes is reporting a safety it never provided. The strip is where a hurried reader meets the limits first.
Principle 11 · Reconciliation proves arithmetic, not plausibility
Where does Honesty strip come from?
Principle 11 of the Kymira doctrine, Reconciliation proves arithmetic, not plausibility. Honesty strip is the name the doctrine gives to what that principle requires in practice.
What failure is Honesty strip named after?
Detection without disclosure. The check table counted the flag. The certified page beside it showed the figure clean.
What does it look like on a real file?
Meridian's overview opens with what ties, what is unproven, what went unscreened, and the as of date.
Not for
Not a place for caveats in general. The strip carries what was and was not proved about the figures on this page, in the reader's words.
