End-of-Life Sell-Down (Runout) EOL / runout
For a product being discontinued, how long the stock left will take to sell to zero at the current pace, the number that says "do not reorder, just sell it out."
The fork, why two teams get different numbers
A runout is numerically identical to Weeks of Supply, and that is the whole trap: the same on-hand ÷ weekly-sales ratio means the OPPOSITE thing once a SKU is flagged end-of-life.
